Who We Are
We built EyeSci Angels for investors who want meaningful exposure to early-stage ophthalmology but lack the deal flow, the diligence infrastructure, or the confidence that comes from investing alongside domain experts who have spent careers at the intersection of clinical practice, early-stage investing, and company building. That expertise is backed by a simple commitment: we invest our own capital in every deal we bring to the group.

Early-stage ophthalmology investing demands fluency across clinical, regulatory, reimbursement, and adoption dynamics. It also requires familiarity with manufacturing and supply chain considerations to recognize when they represent meaningful development risk, whether in drug or device development. HOW IT WORKS
Observer Membership is free. There are no fees, no obligations, and no pressure to invest. Observers attend selected company presentations, access selected diligence materials and educational resources, and engage with the community entirely at their own pace.
Investing Membership opens full access to all diligence materials, deal forums, and the ability to participate in investment opportunities alongside the group.
Most members start as Observers and may convert to an Investing Membership at any time. When an opportunity comes along that interests you, the path to full participation is straightforward.
